2024 marked my 15th year teaching a winter training program, and it was the best one yet. Over the years, I’ve refined my approach, blending science-backed training principles with techniques that address the unique needs of recreational cyclists. Whether you want to boost your fitness, conquer endurance rides, or simply keep up with your cycling buddies, this program is for you.

Now, I’m thrilled to announce the 2025 RideStrong Winter Training Program! This 10-week program is designed to help cyclists of all levels improve their performance and confidence on the bike. You’ll build strength, endurance, and technique through progressive, targeted workouts—all from the comfort of your home.

RideStrong Is For Every Recreational Cyclist

  • Newer riders who want to feel more comfortable and confident on the bike, build a solid fitness foundation, and enjoy their rides without feeling overwhelmed.

Program Details

📅 Dates: January 20 – March 26, 2025

🕟 Time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. MST (6:30 p.m. EST)

💻 Live or On-Demand: Join live virtual sessions or access the recordings on-demand for 48 hours after the live class to stay on track with the program.


How It Works
 
All classes are streamed live online, allowing you to join from the comfort of your home or wherever you have access to your bike. You’ll receive step-by-step instructions on how to log in and participate once you register.

What You'll Need


  • A device to view the classes: A tablet, computer, or TV monitor is ideal for the best experience, but a phone will work in a pinch.
  • Headphones or speakers for clear audio during the sessions.
  • A stationary bike, trainer setup, or access to a stationary bike at your gym.

Power, Heart Rate, or Both?

If you have a power meter, you’ll learn how to leverage it for precise training and measurable progress. No power meter? No problem. A heart rate monitor will work perfectly for this program. Either way, you’ll walk away with invaluable insights into your fitness and training.
