There’s a funny fable about a chicken and a pig who wanted to make a bacon-and-egg sandwich for the farmer they liked so much. The chicken said, “I could provide some eggs.” The pig replied, “That’s fine, but while you’re making a contribution, I’m making a real commitment!”
The same adage holds true to all the participants in your indoor cycle class. If they simply get involved in your program, and contribute some effort towards enhancing their performance in class, they will most likely achieve some results. For example, they may feel stronger, more confident, and pleased with their progress. These feelings, however, will not compare to the exhilaration and satisfaction they will experience when they are 100% committed to the entire session.
